Happy Birthday, Soulmate!!

Happy Birthday to my best friend.  You're such a great husband and father and I'm blessed to have you in my life!!

The Greatness Of Your Character
©  Lena Marie Fuller
As I think on the things that I so admire about you,
I admire: Your undoubted love for God,
Your ability to learn, How quickly you can change a negative attribute in yourself, into a positive,
The right choices you make consistently and swiftly without a fleeting thought of the wrong choices as options,
How you are so tenderly moved by the suffering of another,
How your sympathy changes into empathy and you become the fulfiller,
The great teacher and the coach that you have been to myself and to others,
The humility that quietly adorns you when attacked unjustly, or when you have been misunderstood,
How you show the way by example to our Children and others with patience, kindness and love,
And most of all your unwavering love for me,
And so much more.

Happy Birthday. I love you more each day!!

Angels

When the Pixel Fairy Princess was here I asked her to take some shots of Ava in her Halloween outfit, because Ava is going to be a Angel, and I didn't know if I might want to use those images for Christmas cards. However, I had a different idea and Debbie built on it and we took the christmas cards in a different direction. I'm slowly making my way through all the pics, but just love these.

Pixel Fairy Princess Dustings

A couple of weeks ago the very talented Pixel Fairy Princess came to my hometown and I had the pleasure of  1) meeting her and her cute children and 2) getting to spend an afternoon with her doing a photo shoot.  She's got the warmest personality, she's an excellent photographer, and a photoshop wiz.  Bless her heart, she sent me a DVD with about 400 pics on it.  I tried to quickly pick out some of my favorites to post.   She created a DVD to music which I will forever cherish.  The memories captured  and the music she selected, I cried the first time I watched it.  Thank you PFP!!

Murals

My husband and I have a little side business painting murals. We especially love to do murals for childrens' rooms. It's something we love to do together, but recently he completed this mural on his own for Bryce (a little boy who happens to love construction equipment.) We all have gifts and talents that God has given us. I'm thankful God gave Stu artistic ability to share with others. This mural is right above Bryce's bed. We hope it brings him joy everytime he sees it.

Remember the book "Where the Wild Things Are"? This is a mural we did together for a preschool:

Prayer Request

UPDATE: Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers. It could take up to 6 months to know how Roger's vision will be. However, he came through surgery just fine. Thanks Again!!

My brother-in-law Roger, is an amazing guy with a servant's heart and love for the Lord. He has an eye disease called keratoconus. Due to the disease, his cornea ruptured and he's undergoing a Cornea Transplant in the morning. We would greatly appreciate your prayers for Roger.
Thanks and God Bless!

Counting down!!!

Every day Jake asks me "how many days until Halloween, mom?" I love this time of year because of all the excitement, get togethers and opportunities to create traditions and memories. Halloween -- then Thanksgiving --then Christmas. Just love it. And, every year Halloween decorations get better and better. Check out these cute items from Horchow and Ballard Designs
